Soul Constellation Map

An evolving interactive artwork exploring recurring identities, relationships, and cultural memory across time.

The Soul Constellation Map is an interdisciplinary research and artistic project that combines historical investigation, digital cartography, symbolic analysis, and interactive design into a continuously evolving online environment. Rather than presenting history as a fixed chronology, the work invites visitors to navigate it as a living constellation of recurring individuals, relationships, archetypes, and cultural movements.

Developed through years of individual case studies, the project gradually expanded from investigating single biographies into tracing larger relational networks spanning centuries. As more historical figures, contemporary individuals, symbolic motifs, and recurring relationship dynamics emerged, the research revealed interconnected structures that increasingly resembled constellations rather than isolated lives.

The interactive interface allows visitors to move through these evolving networks from multiple perspectives, including soul lineages, relationship constellations, historical era clustering, timeline navigation, thematic filtering, and network visualisations. Each visitor constructs their own pathway through the archive, discovering unexpected connections and recurring patterns.

Although rooted in long-term research, the project intentionally occupies the space between archive, artwork, speculative cartography, and participatory knowledge system. Historical research, karmic astrology, symbolic interpretation, intuitive investigation, facial comparison, and AI-assisted pattern recognition are brought together as complementary artistic methodologies that invite reflection rather instead of certainty.

The project functions as a living artwork that continuously evolves as new research, participants, historical figures, and relational structures are added. Each new investigation has the potential to reshape the constellation itself, allowing the archive to grow organically over time.

Future iterations will focus on creating more participatory ways of engaging with the work. Planned developments include an interactive dialogue system that allows visitors to explore the archive through personalised conversational pathways, helping them navigate the constellation in relation to their own questions, interests, and recurring life themes. Over time, the platform will also invite artists, researchers, writers, and participants to contribute creative responses, essays, artworks, and alternative interpretations that become part of the evolving constellation, allowing the archive itself to develop through an ongoing dialogue between research, artistic practice, and its community.

Ultimately, the Soul Constellation Map explores how identity, creativity, mythology, memory, and human relationships may echo across generations, inviting visitors to imagine history not as a sequence of separate lives, but as an interconnected web of recurring patterns continually reshaping culture.
